John was originally involved in the design of fabric pleating machines as well as the development of high spec fabrics to both reflect and retain heat. We locally manufacture conservatory and window blinds from the same family of fabrics today. His son Richard joined him when Blind Technique was set up in 2004 and since then we have grown from a small company that only offered conservatory blinds to offering a full and comprehensive range of blinds shutters and awnings.
